The Café Kafka is a very special place in town. With its imperialistic chandelier, worn-down walls, antique furniture as well as the moody lightening it happens to have a very own atmosphere. The "Kafka" is mostly crowded by hipsters, twenty-somethings and people who try to read and enjoy a smoke. The waiters take orders quickly.
If you want to get a feeling of who the locals of Vienna enjoy their coffee you should give it a try. Just sit there, take your time and watch the other people on the next table. Do never question the old furniture in Viennese coffee houses - they are part of the coffeehouse culture and can never be replaced.
