YDG Thai Cafe @ Bukit Raja, Klang

[Disgrace to Thai Cuisine!!]
Was looking for a Thai Restaurant in Klang still we came across a hidden mix Chinese Thai Cafe located in Bukit Raja, Klang. At first we thought it was a cafe but apparently it's a restaurant which served fusion of Thai and Western cuisine on their menu. Talking about menu, it was too thick like a Bible and confusing, cramp with so many dishes yet disappointing food. Overall was bad and disgusting, even I had food poisoning after eating there! One advice for all restaurant and cafes, try to focus on quality and not quantity. No one cares if you have 100 dishes but all badly done and served . People will only remember your best signature dish!! The environment was cozy and relaxing still the live band started singing, loud and noisy still you can't even hear the person next to you say anything. YDG Thai Cafe just started their business few months ago, I hope they will improve their food quality in the future.

1. Main Course
YDG Rainbow Fried Rice RM 13.90
Out of all the fried rice we ordered, I personally prefer this one and it could be potentially their signature dish. Simple mixture of fine ingredients with braised pork meat above, color with chop vegetable and fried egg. Flavor on the rice was well season, overall looks beautiful & eye catching.

YDG Tomyam Fried Rice RM 13.90
Fried rice with tomyam paste and seafood sided with an fried egg. The rice was wet and seafood obviously not fresh.

YDG Pineapple Fried Rice RM 13.90
Basic pineapple fried rice with chicken floss on the topping? Seriously not funny, the chicken floss totally kills the pineapple and the pineapple fried rice was badly season . Only taste chicken floss in every bite, better name it as chicken floss fried rice.

YDG Seafood Fried Rice RM 13.90
YDG seafood fried rice is almost similar to tomyam seafood fried rice. Overall the rice is also soggy and lack of flavor. Seafood here 100% not fresh but not as worst as the tomyam seafood soup.

Marryland Chicken Chop RM 15.90
The safer meal to eat here if you're not sure what to eat. You can't go wrong with deep fried chicken chop right? The chicken chop was crispy and juicy, tenderly in the inside but some seasoning needed to improve this dish.French Fries was cold as if they were fried long time ago.

Tomyam Seafood Soup RM 17.90
If you're opening a Thai restaurant then your Thai food better be good or average if not, better close down . I never had such a bad seafood tomyam in my life before. The prawn was definitely rotten and smelly causing the whole bowl pot of tomyam soup to stink. The problem with this restaurant's most of their seafood and ingredient are not fresh at all .

Green Curry Soup RM 15.90
Green curry soup're suppose to be creamy because of the coconut milk and not sweet like
candy.

2. Snacks & Dessert

Fried Pandan Chicken RM 13.90
Fried pandan chicken here was pretty average. The only weird thing is when I ask the stuff how many pieces of fried pandan chicken comes on a plate . He say 5 but ending up they actually served 6 pieces.

Crystal Chicken Feet Salad RM 9.90
I will never recommend this weird dish to anyone. Basically is chicken feet skin mix with chop onion, mint leave, and tomatoes coated with fish sauce. Overall really tasted weird still I run out of words to describe. Just say NO to this.

Village Kanom Tuay RM 6.90
The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because of this Thai dessert or also known as Thai Khanom thuai. Khanom thuai, or khanom thuai talai, is a Thai dessert made from rice flour, coconut milk and sugar. Its name is derived from the small ceramic cups in which the dessert is cooked and distinctively served, which are called thuai talai. Ingredients may also include salt, eggs and pandan essence. Is very rare to find this around Klang Valley.

3. Beverages
YDG Royal Milk Tea RM 7.90

Yogurt Ice Blended RM 6.90

YDG Rose Milk Tea RM 7.90

Green Milk Tea RM 7.90
