Was looking for new cafes in Cheras recently still I come across this Australian inspired brunch cafe and bar, Mighty Monster @ MyTown Shopping Centre located at the ground floor. Unique interior design with very weird concept combination which makes overall as if you're dining in a monsterfy restaurant. At Mighty Monster @ MyTown Shopping Centre, they served great fusion style brunch accompany with sweet and delightful waffle dessert which is free to enlighten things up after a heavy meal. Great place for Instagrammer to show off their skill because their food presentation was well organized plus perfect background in any corner to get good shots!! Mighty Monster @ MyTown Shopping Centre also offer great a width range of wine selection at any hour!! But sadly the food tasted dreadful and not worth paying that amount for it. Food Review : Neither the Beef brisket patty or grilled chicken burgers surpass my expectation and we're paying RM 36 for it? To experience a bland tasting patty and premake mac & cheese from a tin can? Unacceptable!! Plus the beef patty and grilled chicken was burnt out causing bitterness on the bottom of the beef patty nor the grill chicken. Super dry and under season but surprisingly the rustic potatoes wedges was over season. Strong herbs and salting!! Maybe the Chef just broke off so he's feeling kind of despondency and dejection which reflected on his dish.

Garlic fried rice with salmon,edamame,crispy wanton skin, chili jam and sunny side up egg
Food Review :This is the only meal which tasted not bad. Salmon was fresh and perfectly grill but the garlic fried rice wasn't so flavoring plus a little too oily. Not sure whats with that fried wanton skin which was so unnecessary on the plate.

Food Review :The only thing which tasted pretty normal about their monster breakfast is the scrambled eggs and sauteed mushrooms. Others tasted like burnt out peanuts which makes a hungry person felt unappetizing and strange after this meal .

Food Review : One word ,'Salty'.. I was wondering why the exclusive mighty seasoning and herbs is so demn salty or basically is just bags of salts they added.

Sous-vide duck breast in peking marinate, 63 celcuis egg, gobo rools, crispy Chinese broccoli and freshly made Japanese Noodles in a miso broth topped with wakame seaweed.
Food Review : Firstly if you have been to any Japanese restaurant and tasted their miso broth, you'll understand from which point I judging. Totally bland more like water with some soy sauce and sesame seeds. Overall cook noodles and sadly 3 slices of duck meat for real? Im paying RM 26 and I get 3 slices of duck breast meat which not even half of a full size duck breast meat.

Stir fried cumin lamb shoulder with barley mixed herbs salad, curry mayo, chipatle bbq sauce with fragrant rice.
Food Review : Firstly fragrant rice? How's you define if a rice is fragrant or not when it tasted like white rice? Secondly curry mayo? seriously tasted weird, maybe this is how they served in middle eastern country and lastly the Stir fried cumin lamb shoulder was chewy..
