What is Claypot rice ? some of you might not know and some still wondering !!
Well , Claypot chicken rice 砂煲鸡饭, 瓦煲鸡饭 or 煲仔鸡饭 is usually a dinner dish in the southern regions of China, Malaysia and Singapore. It is prepared and served with Chinese chicken or pork sausage and vegetables. More often than not, the rice is cooked in the claypot first and cooked ingredients like diced chicken and Chinese sausage are added in later. Some places they use beef or lamb to replace the chicken .
Traditionally, the cooking is done over a charcoal stove, giving the dish a distinctive flavour. Some places serve it with dark soya sauce and also dried salted fish. Salted fish enhances the taste of the claypot chicken rice, depending on the diner's preference. Due to the time-consuming method of preparation and slow-cooking in a claypot, customers might have to wait a period of time (typically 15–30 minutes) before the dish is ready.

Fish Claypot Rice RM 13.00 , Is my first time trying this , looks good on visual but not really what I expected. In my opinion , is not very easy to cook fish with rice in a clay-pot because is very hard to adjust the timing for both . The fish is tasteless and the rice is not well cook .
Black pepper chicken rice Rm 9.00 , strong pepper smell and the chicken is soft and the source mix well together .
Prise wise abit more expensive compare to other places.
