Traditional Indian food, served with a warm smile . Delicious food and fantastic India poster hanging on the side . Anjappar at Bangsar, a restaurant originating from Chennai that specializes in Chettinad cuisine. Chettinad cuisine is known for heavy use of spices, making it one of the most aromatic in India. And apparently, Anjappar also serves the best Mutton Biryani and mutton curry , I was going crazy when i saw so much variety of mutton
This restaurant actually is part of an international chain restaurant that origin from Chennai. The Chennai sounds familiar to you Yes, our roti canai actually comes from there.
Many are drawn by its thali. This is a set consisting of rice or traditional bread, gravies, rassam and others. One of my favourite actually is the rassam at here. This is actually consider as indian soup which serve in a small cup. This soup taste quite hot and sour and brings up your appetite

MENU and also the story of Anjappar Restaurant .
Very dedicated workers and alert when even you need to order. they will serve like a KING and put a smile on your face !!!
Mango Lassi @ RM7, refreshing drink and also good to cool down after having so much of spicy food.
Cinderella Rm 8.50 , mixture of pineapple and oranges forming a sensation drink.
If I'm mistaken this is call the Mat Salleh teh tarik with
Rendang Mutton , boiling hot and spicy but tasty and after eat i felt really graceful that my friends bring me here because is really one of the best rendang mutton that i ever tasted in my entire life.
Dry curry chicken , a dish of dry fried chickens cubes with curry leaves, cashew nuts and loads of spices. But first, I need to clarify that it comes in only a small plate and what you see in the pic above is actually a magnified one. That aside, the heavy dose of spices used made it taste really rich and goes excellently well with rice or plain biriyani.
Mutton Biriyani ( rich with different kind of spices making the rice smell extremely good ) RM16 + , Tandoori Chicken ( hot and fresh , has a stronger seasoning of tandoori masala, which sort of made up for the dryness. I will admit that I haven’t tasted a lot of Chicken Tandoori, but this is finger licking good ) + Curry Mushroom ( not too spicy but just right , it goes well with the Nann bread ) + Chesse cottage curry ( To me it tasted weird and is green in color but maybe others like it very much , the texture tasted like toufu and very soft . ) + Onion Yogurt ( Many claim that is very good for the bones and also to reduce the spiciness ) ,
